Many of the people we bump into these days are struggling to make ends meet one way or the other and so we all cut out the small things we consider being luxuries such as gym memberships then we start to feel depressed because we feel out of shape we cancel small insurance policies as the money will be more useful towards increasing utility bills or food bills. So basically where I am going with this is that our moods can be affected by all of these things which is the same with having your hair done, we wear our hair EVERY day so why should we lose out on something that can affect us in such a way it can make or break our day which is why we are so fussy about whom we get to do it.

Recently we had a loyal client of ours visit us after winning our Slimming World voucher she received for being slimmer of the month, giving her 50% off her new look. She expressed how much she enjoyed coming to Thistles however having being one of the majority of people being made redundant from her job asked if she could bring in some money each week to allow her to save easily for her hair allowing her to maintain her style and colour and not feel the pinch at the end of the 6 weeks. Having thought it through we have put the wheels in motion and commenced a pre payment method for your hair and having had it promoted in that salon for the past 2 weeks have found it a success with other clients whom have been faced with similar difficulties.

One client even started two cards for her two nieces for Christmas….what a great idea!!
