Over Fifties

They say that you make your mistakes in your 20's, learn by them in your 30's, and relive your youth in your 40's. What about your 50's...

You put on the television, read magazines etc with adverts that want you to plan your funeral and walk round like Pat Butcher.

Whilst deciding on our summer offers I decided to look into this over 50's idea and see what others were saying.

According to a survey carried out by the Daily Mail one-third of over 50's were having an affair, reasoning behind this was boredom, not being told they looked attractive or a need for self fulfilment after bringing up a family or divorcing from their life long marriage.

Typical stereotypes suggest hitting fifty ranges from worrying about wearing the right support underwear to hormone replacement to hot flushes. So this month I have decided to dedicate my time to finding out more about what women from 45 years young are really looking for with their hair.

Take celebrities like Judy Dench, Olivia-Newton-John or Susan Sarandon to name a few, all of which are over 50 and look fantastic on the outside as I am sure they feel on the inside. Now look at it this way...

Take away their existing hairstyles and replace it with Pat Butchers or Vera Duckworth's... Doesn't quite have the same effect does it?

I'm not saying we can change your life in just one haircut however we can change the way you feel when you look at your hair on a daily basis. How to look good naked or with your clothes on doesn't really matter but your hair is something you wear everyday so why shouldn't feel fantastic even if your not part of the minority having an affair love your hair cut and colour put your hair in our hands and feel great about the way you look everyday!
